Born in Boston, MA, daughter of Beverly (Leed) Comeau and the late Donald J. Comeau, Sr.
She is survived by her mother Beverly A. (Leed) Comeau, siblings Kimberly A. Comeau, Donald J. Comeau, Jr., (married to Susan), David J. Comeau (married to Mary). She is survived by nieces Madison Cajuelan and Hannah Damours, nephews Anthony Cajuelan, Daniel Comeau, Kyle Comeau and great-nephew Jiraiya Mendes and numerous cousins.
Aimee graduated from Sandwich High School and earned a Degree in Science from Boston College. She worked as an Environmental GeoScientist since her graduation at Joint Base Cape Cod. She was passionate about helping clean up the environment on Cape Cod and "protect and preserve nature for the future against the faults of human past".
She was diagnosed with hereditary pancreatitis at an early age yet she lived an adventurous life.
In high school she excelled in soccer, track and gymnastics. She loved surfing at the National Seashore surrounded by its breathtaking beauty, earned her Scuba Diver Certification and did a night dive with the seals in the kelp forest of La Jolla, CA, climbed Mt. Washington with dear friends and ran the Falmouth Road Race for several years. She won many trophies at the local car shows with her 1963 blue VW bug along with her Dad and his 1968 Mustang CA Special and her brother David driving the 1966 Mustang convertible. She spent much of her recent years with her mother at their Happy Place in Ogunquit, ME where they walked the beach and Marginal Way, shopping and sharing their love of the shore. She loved to travel and surprised her mother with a trip to France and Provence where she connected to Van Gogh's transformation of pain into beauty. Always yearning to be on the water, Aimee also loved sailing in the Caribbean and the Chesapeake Bay with family. She became a Marriage Officiant in order to perform the weddings of her two brothers. Her smile was radiant and infectious and her fearless spirit will be forever present. In her words, she "truly experienced the wonderful mystery of the world, seeing beauty in nature, whether a curling wave or a dew drop on a flower or the intricate movements of a tiny turtle, crab or hummingbird, and sharing that with others." She will be remembered for being true to herself, expressing kindness and caring, spreading joy and understanding the complex science of nature.
