Ed was one of those folks you encounter in your life who you immediately know is genuine from the get-go.  Honest as the day is long, trustworthy, supportive, loving, humorous and eminently capable.  

We worked together at the CPUC and I am truly blessed just to have known him that capacity.  My heart goes out to his family and friends.  We have lost one of the really good ones.

May he RIP and his life be an example to all of us.
