Theresa Mary Drake

Theresa Drake passed away Saturday, August 12th, 2023. She is survived by her husband David, two sons Jonathan (and wife Amber), Joseph (and Kelli), and daughter Jillian (and Daniel Sr.) She has four grandchildren, Greyson, Daniel, Dessie, and Ellie. She has two brothers, Tim and David and two sisters, Debbie and Pamela. She also has 10 nieces and nephews.

Theresa grew up in Oak Park, Illinois. She graduated from Oak Park River Forest high school and went on to receive her cosmetology license. She and David got married in 1984 and moved to California to start their lives together in 1985. Theresa then had three children and became a resident manager for almost 35 years in San Jose, California.

Theresa had many accomplishments throughout her life. She was the strongest, most courageous, most amazing,beautiful, kind, caring, thoughtful, generous, loving, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt in the whole world. No matter what life threw at her she never gave up and never complained. She was truly a remarkable person and will be missed by many.

A Visitation for Theresa will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 with a Rosary at 7 p.m., at Lima Family Erickson Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose. A funeral service will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, also at Lima Family Erickson.
