Robert worked in the sheet metal trade for 40 years and was a very proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers' Local Union No. 104 for more than 70 years. He served our country in the United States Navy during World War II.
Robert was the loving father of Mark Heinkel, Kathleen Heinkel, Starr Hallmark, Brand Heinkel and Range Heinkel. He was the Beloved Grandfather of nine, great grandfather of twelve, and great-great grandfather of nine. He was predeceased by his former wife, Myrtle Ledford and his longtime companion, Mae Dean.
Visitation/Reception - Sunday, August 7, from 4:00-7:00 at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose. Visitation/service, Monday, August 8 beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at 2:00 p.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park, Route 35 at Hwy 92, San Mateo.
