Isolina Sarti was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Isolina will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Isolina was born on December 15, 1914 at home in Fayette City, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Orlinto and Nancy Travasari. Isolina grew up in Italy.
Isolina was raised with two siblings. She had a brother, Rico, and a sister, Olga. Isolina was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Isolina exchanged wedding vows with Nello Sarti. Empathic and loyal, Isolina was committed to making her new family happy.
Isolina worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Isolina was blessed with two children, Robert and John. Another blessing for Isolina was the gift of six grandchildren, Rob, Rick, Tony, John, Gina, and Michelle.
Fortunately, Isolina enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Isolina worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was a homemaker. She was a homemaker for 74 years. Isolina always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Isolina enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were making pizza, playing solitary, shopping, and storytelling. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.
Isolina enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for her to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included Mexican cruises and family trips to Disneyland.
Isolina was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of her favorites was a baby cow that wanted its mommy.
Isolina passed away of old age on April 3, 2012 at O'Conner Hospital in San Jose, CA. She is survived by her grandchildren Rob, Rick, Tony, John, Gina, and Michelle; her 18 great-grandchildren, and her four great-great-grandchildren. Services were held at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park. Isolina was laid to rest in Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, CA.
Simply stated, Isolina was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Isolina leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Isolina Sarti.
