Carmen will truly be missed she was family to us. Hearing the news broke my heart but, I know one day I will see her beautiful smile and hear her cute voice again. The Sunday before she passed I told her how beautiful she looked she was matching still Remember exactly what she was wearing.  She spoke so great about her son, daughter in law and grand children that last Sunday we talked I told her I would pray for her. She felt so special when my husband gave her some flowers on a Tuesday before Discipleship it made her cry. Carmen will be missed she welcomed me into Golden Alter Ministry she was right there when I first walked in. I will

We were so blessed to have served with Carmen.  Pastor Harold and I will truly miss our sister .  The first person you would see when you would walk through the doors of the house of God.  Awesome example of a true servant of God! Very loving❤ She would always collect our bottles for recycle. But now she is truly in the arms of the Lord!  Until we meet again. Thank you to her son for sharing your amazing Momma with everyone at GAM. Your momma adored each and everyone of you. She’d share her stories of her talented son, beautiful daughter in law and her gifted grandchildren. I had the honor to co-labor with Carmen in the church office for several years. I’d enjoy cooking mini breakfasts for us ladies she was my favorite taste tester. Potatoes were a favorite of your Mommas and a good dessert. We’d have dessert for breakfast occasionally and then try to go walk it off. I knew when she was going to share a joke by her mischievous giggle and her eyebrows going up around her glasses. She was a pistol in disguise. I’d say slow down , there’s a speed limit in the office. We’d laugh as we both be laid out in an office chair laughing. She was willing to learn new things and customize it to work best.  She loved her figurines, dolls and antiques from her parents. Her plants were special to her,, I would ask, “ How many green thumbs do you have?”. Her presence entering the church office will truly be missed however the sweet memories bring comfort. She was devoted and faithful to GAM. Serving with unconditional ❤️. What a honor. Well done my Sista!

My memories of Miss Carmen; she never missed a day of work, she was always there  taking  care of everything. She coveted my food, I was always cooking new dishes and taking her some. She had every handbag   I made. I'm still looking for her to be at the office when I get here.  I miss her so much now.  Some of our church family called her little bit, I called her huggie bear, she liked to hug a lot. There is a song that I sing, called Friends in high places. Rest in peace & I will see you there.
