Carlos "Chuck" Elemen Lopez

His father was a farm worker. Chuck would spend his childhood days running around the orchards until his father was finished with his work. Chuck enjoyed playing outside with his brothers and picking fruit from the orchards. Chuck loved his parents dearly, as he would reminisce of his mother’s cooking, especially her tortillas, hot chocolate, and tamales.

As a young adult, Chuck enjoyed lowriding down Story Road in his Impala, Riveria, or Chevy. He met his wife, Imelda, through friends and were introduced five times before the two decided to talk. Their love blossomed and dated for two years until they decided to marry. Then they raised their family. Three children, Trish, Rosalina, and Daniel. Chuck was a devoted father. He loved spending time with his children, reading, and rooting for his beloved Niners!

Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and his passion for helping others. He spent the remainder of his career in public safety for over twenty years. He was an artist at heart, as he wrote many poems for his family.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Imelda, his children, Trish, and Daniel. Son in law, Jason. Daughter in law, Jessica. His grandchildren, Michael, Jaclyn, Jayden, Jerimiah, Audrey-Rose, and his great grandchild, Jericho. He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved daughter, Rosa. His memory will be cherished by all who know him.

A niche burial will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11am at Oak Hill Cemetery at the Christus Wall (in front of the Great Mausoleum). A memorial of life reception to follow at Oak Hill Reception Hall #2 & 3, in the main building.
