Alice Swain Sanchez

Alice was born in East Los Angeles to Jessie Galvan and Jaime Swain, the oldest of nine siblings.

Alice met her husband of 59 years, Tomas Sanchez, in San Jose, California. The two loved to dance, and won many trophies! Alice and Tom enjoyed traveling, they visited all of the 50 states and Canada, along with their close friend Sister Clarice Sparkman. Alice took great pride in her large family and loved each one of her family members, unconditionally-and made sure they knew! Alice loved being around her family, spending quality time with them, from holidays to birthdays to family dinners, she was always in attendance.

Alice ran a home daycare for many years and was known to the children she cared for as "Grandma Alice."

Alice was a huge part of her family and created many memories with them that they will all cherish.

Alice is survived by her loving husband, Tomas Sanchez, their four children, Richard Sanchez, Sandra (Kevin) Kahn, Shirley (Russ) Smith, and Nancy Mangano, their twelve grand children, Danielle, Felicia, Olivia, Samantha, Vanessa, Marissa, Amy, Candace, Jessica, Regina, Steven, and R.J., and their fifteen great grandchildren, Taylor, Anthony, Gwenaveire, Amirah, Jake, Jason, Anthony, Shayna, Angelina, Eleanor, Audrey, Ayden, Abel, Emilia, and Isabella.
