Passed away at his home Tuesday April 2nd., 2013 at the age of 74. Chuck was a long time resident of San Francisco, first stationed at the Presidio as a Commanding Officer in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966, and then worked at the Pacific National Bank until 1968. For the last 32 years he has been a resident in the 1900 block of Union Street. He was born in Minneapolis, was a high school tennis team captain at Upper Arlington High School in Columbus, Ohio, and, a graduate of Dickinson College and Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, PA. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity - Penn Zeta Chapter. Chuck spent much of his career as a pension consultant with Sun Life Assurance of Canada, and then as an Asylum Officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security- Immigration Services in the San Francisco office until retirement in 2005. He is survived by a brother - Clifford R. Rowe Jr. (Diane), their children - Megan, Abigail, Rebecca, Clifford 3rd, and eight grand nieces and nephews.
