Vito and his brother Pete went on to partner on the fishing vessel the Lu Marie and later the Nancy. His son Lawrence fished alongside him for 25 years. Vito fished over 65 years. He loved to cook, garden, make puzzles, play cards and games with his grandchildren. He loved to watch many sports and old western movies.
