Oscar is preceded in Death by his Parents Guillermo and Bertha Agundez, His birth mother Jovita Agundez, His siblings Guillermos Agundez, Richard Agundez, Gilbert Agundez, Lidia Ardilla, Norma Agundez and one surviving brother Robert (Virginia) Agundez.
He is survived by his Beautiful wife Frances, the love of his life. They were married for 64 years. Oscar was born and raised in San Diego. Oscar had 4 children, Christine, Rosalie, Shawna, and Daniel. Oscar had 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Oscar loved Collecting baseball cards most of all. He liked spending time with his grandsons Ricky and Joey and sharing his cards and knowledge of baseball with them. He was a big collector of all kinds of sports memorabilia and vintage toys. He was a kid at heart.
Oscar loved going to the Casino with his wife. He kept his mind sharp by completing his word find books and reading the Newspaper.
He was an animal lover and loved his dog Sarge who was by his side till the end.
Oscar had a great sense of humor that was passed down to his children and grandchildren. There was not a day that there wasn't laughter in his house. Most days, he would have music playing, from Spanish, soul, country, blues, Jazz or M&M.....This is where our love of music came from.
Lastly, Oscar loved the Lord and received him at the age of 81 and loved praying, reading his bible and listening to Christian music.
Dad, we will miss you sorely and you left a big void in our lives, but we will carry on with the Love you left behind in all who knew you.
