Norma Ashton age 84 of San Diego passed away peacefully on July 8, 2012 at the age of 84. At a young age, Norma along with her parents William and Elsie, her twin brother Norman and older brother Bill moved from Illinois to San Diego. Norma performed in the Starlight Opera and later in life worked at Grossmont College. She married H.L. Bryce Ashton Aug 25, 1951 and was married for 49 years until Bryce’s passing in 2001. They had three children Mark, Joe and Carol. Norma enjoyed activities that included reading, knitting and crossword puzzles. Norma is survived by her older brother, three children and four grandchildren. Her unconditional love and devotion to the family will truly be missed.
