Noemi Altre Torio

Noemi Altre Torio, 87 of Escondido, California, lovingly known as Mimi, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024 due to complications from a stroke at Palomar Health Escondido. Throughout her hospital stay, she was surrounded by the love and support of family.

Born in the Philippines on January 29th 1937 to Mother, Anecita and Father, Fernando. She migrated to San Diego in 1992, with her husband, Pedro Jr and son, Erwin to be closer to her older sister Rose. Noemi was a cherished aunt to many and will be remembered for her strong will and generosity. She loved her son, grandchildren and cared deeply for her sister. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

Noemi is survived by her son, Erwin, stepchildren; Roel and Rowena, and grandchildren; Katrina Elyse, Ethan Ceeidreayh and Abby.

Though she will be deeply missed, Noemi’s legacy of kindness, humor and wisdom has left an indelible mark on her family, and relatives and will live on in their memories.

A visitation for Noemi will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at El Camino Memorial Chapel, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121.

A funeral mass will occur Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8200 Gold Coast Drive, San Diego, CA 92126.
