Leah McNair, March 18,1925 - July 26,2017, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at her home in Del Mar, overlooking the ocean which brought her great joy and comfort. Leah, born to Sadie and Jacob Levin, was one of 10 children. She had several jobs throughout her lifetime, but her passion was volunteering and taking care of her home and family. Leah is survived by two wonderful sons, Stan and Jeff Tierman and their wives, Sandy and Lorie. In addition, she has two loving granddaughters, Melissa and Shanna, her son -in-law Dano Staberg and many, many nieces, nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews. Leah was an inspiration to many with her strong independent spirit, enthusiasm for life, and her fondness for delicious food and desserts. She was an animal lover and always had dogs and cats. Violet, her tiny Yorkie, was her most recent pet. At 92, she amazed her friends with her regular attendance at yoga and zoomba. Friends always came to Leah for advice and answers. Leah's zest for life will live on in our hearts forever. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
