Lai is survived by their son Nam Nguyen (Nga Nguyen); their son Bac Nguyen; their daughter Hong Nguyen; their daughter Nhi Nguyen (Hung Lai); their daughter No Nguyen; their son Cang Nguyen (Ruth Razon); and their son Cuong Nguyen.
Mr. Nguyen leaves 25 grandchildren to cherish his memories.
