Kurt was a kind gentle soul who loved people, animals, the mountains, nature and life. He was always there for people, giving of himself, his time and his energy and in every way that he could. He was a child at heart and he loved puns, and video games, hanging out with friends and he loved to travel.
Kurt loved to take long walks in nature. He loved being among the mountains and trees. He loved to watch the wildlife that came to visit us. Together we watched hummingbirds, rabbits, crows, a cooper hawk and even a coyote or two that visited us at the house. He also loved cows and he had a photo in his desktop of the cows from his Aunt’s Farm.
When I went to the hospital where I was diagnosed with cancer, Kurt went with me and stayed in the hospital with me, sleeping on a couch and then a chair so that I wouldn’t be alone. He did everything he could to make it easier for me and just having him there made a very scary time, bearable. With Kurt there, the cold hospital room became a warm and loving home.
I used to call him my teddy bear and he used to call me his angel.
To my little teddy bear from your angel:
I love you to the moon and back,
More than you can ever imagine.
Thank you so much for being a part of my life.
You are my soulmate and a piece of my heart has gone with you forever.
May you Rest In Peace and May we be reunited again.
- Love, Beatriz (forever your angel)
Kurt passed away on November 20, 2020 and now he lives forever in our hearts.
