Josephine T. Ricci

She thoroughly enjoyed attending the opera with her sisters and nieces and also liked spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jo graduated from San Diego High School in 1950.

In 1955, Jo married Peter John Ricci and they started a family; sons John, Joseph and Stephen. She worked as an office manager for Oil Filter service more than 20 years

As a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, she made many friends, attended mass and many church functions.

Jo will be remembered as a compassionate, loving, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend - she will be dearly missed.

Jo is survived by her sisters Kay Greco and Toni Monise and her brother Vince Giacalone; sons, Joe and Steve; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives and close friends.

There will be funeral mass on April 18, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 4540 El Cerrito Dr, San Diego, CA 92115. A rosary will precede the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow the mass located in the church hall.
