Jerry was born in Safford, Arizona, but spent most of his life in San Diego. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dee; his children Jerry II and daughter Shelly; his brother Grady; two grandchildren Terry and Larry; stepson Gary and daughter-in-law Erin; two step-grandchildren John Henry and Charlie; and one great-grandchild Anthony. After graduating from San Diego High School, he worked in drafting at various aircraft companies, where he was proud to have been employed at Vandenberg Air Force Base where he was involved in the design of the Atlas Missile. He ended his career at the Sorrrento Electronics division of General Atomics as a Checker in the Drafting section of Engineering. Jerry loved the Chargers and the Padres, he was a fantastic karaoke singer, he was an avid collector of sports memorabilia, and enjoyed bowling and spending time with his many bowling friends.
