Erika was a very classy lady.     Elegant through and through.   She loved her family the most in life and lived for them every day.    I am blessed to have known her in the capacity that I did as her dentist for a short period of time and she impacted me in ways that still teach me to this day.

I enjoyed my conversations with Erika while we were in the choir at the German American Society. I was saddened to see her drop out. See was an amazing woman. Deepest condolences to her family. She will be sorely missed.

It is with great regret that I learned of the death of my good friend Erika from my youth. Luckily I've had the opportunity to make a few phone calls over the past few years. My son Wolfgang was able to meet her in San Diego a few years ago.

So sorry to hear the passing of Erika as I took care of her and her lovely family in the hair department. She was a tremendous light to all in the salon and I am eternally grateful to have known her for several years! Ericka was a remarkable woman: kind, generous, smart and full of Joie de Vivre. 
This photo says a lot; we were often laughing when we were together. 
Ericka made everyone’s life  bigger and better. Blessed to have her part of our family. 
She will be missed. 

I always  absolutely loved Erika and have missed her the last few years when she was not able to attend club functions any more. She was one of the loveliest people I've ever met.
I have moved to Idaho in the meantime and are not able to attend any 
celebrations of her live.

Dear family, I am very sad that Erika had died.
I heard it from Gerhard Ernst, who was a very good friend from her in the 1940er and 1950er years.
In the end of October she called me up and we had a long nice conversation. She was very interested in stories from the Wildweg in Vienna where she was the owner from a house and where she lived as the young Suchy girl. 
Her father was the brother from my grandmother.

We’ve lost many Friends over the years from age, illness, or moving away.😢. In January 2023 several of us will be gathering for a Holiday Stammtisch and remembering the great times we had with Erika and others. Best Wishes to Erika’s Family in the challenging times ahead - and remember the great times with Erika. 🥳

 The picture was taken in 2013 during a House of Austria Stammtisch. From the photo you can see how Erika was friendly, happy and a joy to be around. This is one of the many moments that I hope to have for many years of the times we spent together. 

June 12, 1994.  One of several meals we shared over the years.
Very thankful to have had the oppertunity for one last breakfast together this past July.

I believe this is from the first time I met Erika - a photo shoot for one of Diana's art projects.  1984 or 85.

This is so heartbreaking for all of us, but especially for the whole Baier family who we watched grow up, mature and turn in to absolutely wonderful people. I'm sure Erika was, and is, so proud of all of you. And she was so fond of young Andrew. Every phone call in recent years was an update on Andrew. She loved you all so very much.
I've known Erika since 1959, before Diana was even born, and she never changed.  She was a true friend who would never sugar coat her opinions (which were usually right on the mark). And what a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed terribly.  Love and heartfelt sympathy to all. We just lost one of the good ones.




Deepest sympathy to The Baier and Keller families in this hour of sorrow.   I will miss Erika very much.
