Elmer Gordon Moore

E. Gordon Moore was born December 25, 1926 in Garber, Oklahoma. He went into the Navy in 1944 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1947. He was married in 1945 to Era Mae. In 1959 they moved to San Diego and made their home.

He worked in the glass industry for San Diego Glass and then moved on to Cotrelle Lease Glass where he was the supervisor of the work crews and later retired. He spent many years serving the Lord. He served as a Deacon and the treasurer of Calvary Baptist Church in El Cajon, California for many years.

Gordon is survived by his wife Era Mae Moore His children Diana Mae White, Ronald Gordon Moore and Pamela Joyce Stringfellow; 4 grandchildren- Lisa Dawn Halbert, Jeffery Michael White, Michelle Joyce Gibbs and Rachael Lynne Weeden; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by his baby brother Alfred Moore of Van Buren, Arkansas.
