Delores was born in the state of Kansas, the only child raised on a farm. She was a teacher in public schools here in San Diego for decades teaching elementary grades. She had a love of music and had two music studios teaching every musical instrument, art, and voice classes. She was a devoted teacher to all who wanted to learn and loved it. She played the organ at Balboa Park on several occasions. She died peacefully in her sleep the morning of February 11, 2023, to join her beloved mother, father, and husband. Services will be held at El Camino Memorial Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego. Visitation will be Thursday, February 23rd, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral service Friday February 24th, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
