Cleo R Elliott

Cleo R. Elliott, 95, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, 2020. Her viewing will take place on Tuesday, July, 14th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 684 S Mollison, El Cajon, CA 92020. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., that afternoon at El Camino Memorial at 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, 92121.

Ben Read will be officiating graveside.

Cleo was born in Arboles, Colorado on July 24th, 1924. She had many interests. She was a huge country music fan, an animal lover, she loved the water, fishing, bird watching, walking and was known to tell a good joke or two! During her life, Cleo wore many hats. In the 40’s she was a Rosie the Riveter, where she helped to assemble the planes during WWII. She later became a housewife, waitress, bus driver, and Healthcare Executive. She was also a fantastic cook! She made wonderful things from scratch -- pies, breads, tortillas, jellies, canned goods, … you name it, she could make it! She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother and left a large and loving legacy. She has so many friends and family members who will truly miss her.

Cleo was preceded in death by her husband, James F, Elliott Sr.; children, Carol Barnes, Robert Elliott, and Jerris Magoon; son-in-law, Raymond Barnes; daughter-in-law; Annie Elliott; parents, Maria Estipula and Antonio Read; and siblings, Lucy, Maria, Profiria, Felix, John, Ezequiel, Susanna, Tom, Sara, and Henry. She was also preceded by a grandchild; Sheila Anderson and great-grandchildren, Antonio LaBella, Antonio Stanzione and Jesse James Anderson.

Cleo is survived by her son James F. Elliott Jr, daughter Lynn Garcia (Virgil), daughter-in-law Kelly Elliott and her sister Jean Rudy.

Her grandchildren are James Dean Anderson, Robert Anderson (Winona), Tammy Anderson, Carol Pyle (Michael), Cheryl Dresdner, Cindy Pridgeon, Roy Stanzione (Cheri), Amanda Gabral (Roland), Brandy Cinco, Richard Cinco (Raquel), Wesley Elliott (Jessica), Matthew Elliott (Samantha), Austin Elliott (Emma), Cody Elliott, Lacy Zepeda (Richard), Jade Elliott and Desiree Magoon Branham.

Her great-grandchildren are Elliott Cinco, Forrest Cinco, Chyenne Riggs, Chloee Riggs, Ashley Morgan (Robert), Brittany LaBella, Chelsey Dresdner, Zachary Dresdner, Justin Pyle (Brianna), Jennifer Baenziger (Johnny), Michael Pridgeon (Zaina), Sophia Elliott, Noah Elliott, Joaquin Cinco, Payton Cinco, Christina Stanzione, Jessica James, Stephanie Anderson, Andrea Anderson, Randy Anderson, Jennifer Fritz (Brett), Jamie Rankin, Donnell Teal, Skyler Branham Thompson, Branden Branham, Cameron Elliott, Caden Elliott, Jackson Elliott, Domic Zepeda , Delilah Zepeda, Dayla Zepeda and Ellie Jorden.

Her great-great-grandchildren are Makayla, Aaron, Elijah, Emily, Lincoln, Danny, Leyon, Sophie, Reese, Liam, Bo, Millie, Lillian, Nickolai, Gabriella, Tailynn, Camdyn, and Kaysen.

Cleo lived 95 years on Earth fully and fearlessly and left behind an entire generation that is thankful for her.
