Taya Ji, I still can’t believe I’m never gonna see you again. You were a diamond! Taya Ji had a very shiny smile and he would make people laugh, smile and give everyone lots of service. I’ll miss our laughs and talks on the phone and whenever I would see you we would always give each other a high-five with our left hand. You were my left handed twin and my best friend! I’ll miss you Taya Ji! ❤️

We first met Singh nearly 30 years ago at Chianti Restaurante. What started as an evening out with AMAZING Italian food, turned into a lifelong friendship.  He had this authentic gift of making everyone feel welcome. He always made time for you! 
No matter how busy he was, he would make us feel like we were the only ones there. We have celebrated many family milestones at Singh's Restaurants. The attached photo is a mural we had painted in our home. We chose to name it Cafe Chianti in honor of our favorite place ❤
Singh always had this unique ability to make us feel special. He was a devoted family man, amazing entrepreneur, giving, cared about his community, he was selfless, genuine,  and had a heart of gold. Every time we saw him, he lit up the room with that smile of his. We will always treasure our time with him! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.

Mr. Singh was so full of life—he could connect with anyone and always made sure everyone around him was having a good time and enjoying the moment. We will miss him dearly. 

   Sartaj Uncle always took time to sit with the the youngsters at any social function. He was always the fittest person at the table, but would still tease us that we were the future and he was an old man. Ever the gentlemen who could weave between generations so seamlessly. It’s one of the many qualities that made him so special.  We have only exceptionally found memories of him. We loved him, respected him and looked up to him. I know he is watching over us, and that thought alone at least gives me some solace, to the fact that he was gone too soon. But, he left at the top of his game, as a father, husband, friend and a community leader. 
God Bless your family and know your extended family is always here for you all, forever.

Sartaj, I still can’t manage to comprehend never seeing you again.   I always thought there was time to tell you how much you meant to me and my family.  It could have been the next birthday celebration, the next time it was just us sitting together in the restaurant, but I never anticipated saying any of this without you sitting next me holding a glass of wine or a dirty martini in our hands.  Sartaj, You were that one person that I always looked forward to seeing and catching up with about everything happening in our lives.  You were such a HUGE part of my life.  You were my personal and professional mentor, confidant and one of my dearest friends.  I could tell you anything in the world without being judged and you always accepted me.   You always guided, encouraged, and supported me for the past 15 years of my life.  You were part of my best memories; meeting, dating and marrying my husband, celebrating and honoring all of my families’ birthdays and life celebrations, and just being around the corner to celebrate any given day in life.  You were ALWAYS there for me.

Sartaj, I would do anything in the world to have you back.  I absolutely adored you and I absolutely adore your beautiful family. Your lovely wife, Baldeesh has welcomed me the same exact way you have and always makes me feel like I belong.  Your children are smart and beautiful human beings.  They are the perfect mix of all your and Baldeesh’s best qualities.  They are hardworking, resilient, have insane drive and willpower.  They are patient, ethical, passionate about their dreams and goals and are able to connect with every single person that walks into your restaurant or home.  I can’t wait to see them blossom into successful adults and I know they are always going to make you proud Sartaj.

Sartaj, I love you.  I love you Baldeesh, Pavneet and Navineet.  Let’s toast to one of the most incredible and truly one-of-a-kind, SARTAJ SINGH!  You will be missed!!

My deepest condolences go out to the Singh family! My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time in your lives. Singh is one of the greatest men I had the great pleasure knowing.
