January 29,1998 - January 20, 2024
It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin, Friend. Robert "Bobby" Salazar passed away on Saturday January 20, 2024, Robert entered through the gates of Heaven, at the youthful age of 25 into the arms of all those waiting for him above. Bobby left behind a legacy. He had the biggest heart that anyone could ever imagine. He made friends everywhere he went and did everything he could for those that crossed his path. “Robert was outgoing, kind and loving.” He was adventurous and loved the outdoors, especially the Eastern Sierras - Convict Lake that was his place to be free and alive. He was always ready to start a new adventure and always had “ideas” and he was eager and willing to share his adventures and ideas with anyone who crossed his path. He was courageous and hilarious. He loved to talk, learn, and explore, all with a big bright smile on his face that made him so unique. Bobby could naturally make anyone smile, with his free-spirited personality that was so inviting.
Bobby loved to work, he loved and enjoyed taking care of others, especially his grandfather. Robert loved to dance & sing, especially to his mom, and be silly around everyone. He could turn a negative into a positive just by his presence, he was optimistic, and always found a brighter side to any situation. Bobby was a true Raiders fan, he loved to call his dad during every game yelling, “Pops did you see that or Pops we Got this!”
He was profoundly serious about responsibility; He recently made the decision on his career path, Robert was preparing to enroll into a program to become a Firefighter for wildlife - a "Forest Ranger," he would have been the best at his job. There is “No one who loved animals, wildlife, forestry, people, the outdoors like Bobby did.” He was so excited to share this goal of his with everyone and he was dedicated in carrying out this goal.
He loved and showed his love to everyone. But most of all, Robert knew he was loved by many and cherished all that love, all his family, all his friends. His personality and love had changed so many people, in one way or another.
Robert is survived by his loving Mother Laura Hernandez and loving Father Juanito Salazar; his dearly loved siblings Juanito Salazar, Cynthia Salazar, and Brandon Salazar. His Grandfather Frank Hernandez who was his “Best friend, Buddy, and Mentor” and Grandmother Carole Hernandez, he also survived by nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and many, many cousins, all who he loved dearly. He leaves behind many friends old and new and his fur baby "Bougee" who was always by his side.
Robert will always be: “Loved Beyond Words and Missed Beyond Measure."
