Yolanda Chavira, age 77, passed away May 7, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on January 15, 1940 in Refugio, Texas to Esteban and Antonia Elizalde. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esteban and Antonia Elizalde. her husband, Pablo Chavira, son, Rosendo Abrego, and siblings, Pete, Victor, Pablo, Joe, Beatrice, Felipa and Anna. She is survived by her daughter, Michele Valdez and her husband Joe; grandsons, Rosendo Abrego and wife Jacquelyn, Daniel Abrego and wife April, Jacob Abrego; great-grandchildren, Jayline , Russell, Levi, Daniel Jr., May, and J.R. Abrego; brothers, Richard, Daniel and Steve; sisters, Siria, Susana and Rachel. Visitation will be on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes, Texas beginning at 9:00 A.M. with a rosary at 10:00 A.M. and a funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. all at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian.
