Wanda was born on a farm in Ames, Kansas, she traveled the world with Ivan while he served in the United States Army. Together they settled down in San Antonio and made it their home. She loved to bowl and was a president, secretary and treasure of various bowling leagues for 17 years. She owned and crafted a ceramics business with her daughter and late husband Ivan. As a strong headed women full of life, Wanda was always up to something, mischievous some would say. From sewing, to painting, embroidering, knitting, she had a project in mind. Wanda was a loving, caring lady, she especially loved her grandgirls even threw her last days those were her people, her girls.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, nephew, daughter Vickie and her husband Ivan of 45 years and 10 months.
She is survived by her granddaughters Karly and twins Chelsea and Kayla, and little great grandchildren Lauren and Korbin. As well as the Trembley family and all the many friends she collected throughout the years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the diabetes foundation or Cancer foundations.
Visitation will be 5-7pm, Monday, December 26, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
