Thomas (Tommy) Hodge Flowers entered into rest on September 17, 2016, at the age of 58 years.
He was reunited in Heaven with his wife, Martha Crouch Flowers, and his parents Richard and Betty Flowers. Survivors include his son, Thomas Wade Flowers; his daughter, Ashley Nicole Flowers; his daughter Kristin Elizabeth Lowther and her husband, James, and granddaughter Lorna Elizabeth Lowther; and “adopted” son Jes Rossen Johansen, of Denmark. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Wade Flowers, his sister, Judy Elizabeth Dyess; as well as many friends and an extended family.
Tommy worked in the oil and gas industry for 30+ years. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, in San Antonio, and the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and the Silver Spurs. He was a beloved father, granddaddy, brother, son, and friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held at University United Methodist Church, 5084 De Zavala Road in San Antonio, on September 30, at 10 AM, with Pastor Laurinda Kwiatkowski officiating. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the last several months.
