Jeanette, Louisa and I extend our condolences to you and your family. We met you and the "Colonel" on one of our many walks around the neighborhood and we became fast friends. He was a consummate patriot who flew our flag everyday and loved his country. It was our honor to know him. He really was great friend and he will be sorely missed.

Few men experience the rare blessings of both friendship and mentorship in this life.  I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing both in the same person I affectionately call "Col Ted."  I will always carry with me the wisdom he bestowed, the knowledge he imparted, and the confidence he instilled deep within me.  I am a better man and a better officer because of his presence in my life.  I will sorely miss my friend and mentor. He is simply irreplacable.  To my very dear neighbor Ted. I will miss seeing you everyday. It was fun having you around. I enjoyed your laugh and your generosity. I respected who you were and what you did.
