Our little angel, Sylvia Marie Castaneda, born on February 28, 1963 went to be with our Lord on August 30, 2012 at the age of 49. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Micaela Castaneda, and two sister-in-laws; Sylvia Castaneda and Roxy Castaneda. She is survived by her brothers Cruz Salinas and wife Lucy, Buddy R. Castaneda and wife Mary, Oscar R. Castaneda, Charles A. Castaneda and wife Vicky Roberts, Daniel J. Castaneda and wife Roseanne, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and other family members. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm. We will depart the funeral home at 9:30am on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 to St. Agnes Catholic Church for a 10:00 Mass of Christian Burial with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
