Susan Elizabeth Talbert

Susan Talbert was born on September 07, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 6, 2018. Susan was a teacher for over 40 years and taught kindergarten at Randolph Elementary for over 30 of those years. She also taught English as a second language for the Universal City, Schertz, and Cibolo Independent School District. During this time, she also worked at Joske’s and Dillard’s. She enjoyed spending time with her son, fishing and going for walks. She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Marguerite Staples. She is survived by her son Tim, and cousins Marilyn Bauriedel and Sara Wilson. A visitation will be held on April 20, 2018 from 6pm -8 pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas. Please bring balloon arrangements in lieu of flowers. Guest are encouraged to wear something for the San Antonio Spurs or Texas Rangers. Susan will be laid to rest in Salem, Indiana.
