Shirley Jeanne Campbell went to be with Our Lord on July 23, 2019. Shirley Jeanne Rahm was born on July 1, 1928 and was the youngest of five children. Although Kentucky Born, she moved to Texas before her first birthday and married her husband Thomas Sterner Campbell when she was 20; they made a long happy life here raising their eight children. Her love for The Lone Star State was apparent with all the items and pieces of art she collected over the years that contained bluebonnets and other flowers, many of which could be found in her back yard in which she tended to quite successfully. Shirley was a high-spirited woman who loved dancing and could always be seen tapping her feet anytime music was playing. She also enjoyed antique shopping, reading, watching movies, going out to eat, and attending estate sales, but above all, she was happiest when she was surrounded by her family at the many parties and BBQ’s we had for various reasons.
Shirley is preceded in death by her two sisters Leona and Mary; brother Emmett (EJ); her husband Thomas (Tommy); and her two sons Robert (Bobby) and Lawrence (Larry). She is survived by her brother Father Harold J. Rahm; S.J.; her three daughters Janell Cushman, Suzanne Campbell-Cash, and Michelle Scogna; three sons, Thomas, Christopher (Chris) and Harold; as well as 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was loved very much and will be missed dearly.
