Seth was a loving son, brother and friend. He was held dear by so many and was known for encouraging others to be their greatest version, no excuses. His “whatever it takes” mentality was contagious and inspiring to all who had the pleasure of witnessing his journey. His time was brief, but the impact he made on others will be everlasting.
Those left to cherish his beautiful soul include his mother Zinia Johnson; sisters Tz Gonzales-Ramirez, Ayla Gonzales-Vance (Ellison), Xenya Pedroza, Zayda Gonzales-Johnson, Zaliyah Johnson, Akasha Johnson; brother La’Trell Johnson. He is also survived by his grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father John Pedroza (Bitoni), his step-father Charles Deon Johnson and his grandfather Clemente Gonzales.
Seth was a proud Soldier and dedicated member of the 4th Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Prior to serving in the 4th battalion, he was assigned to the 3rd battalion where he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation FREEDOM SENTINEL. Seth’s military decorations and awards include the Army Commendation Ribbon (Combat), the Army Achievement Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Army Commendation Medal (Posthumous), the Army Good Conduct Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with one bronze campaign star, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Rifleman Badge, and Parachutist Badge.
In his free time, he found joy in playing video games where he made lifelong friends online who loved and cherished time spent with him. He also enjoyed working on his physique where he was proudly referred to as “the Dorito” by friends and other gym goers. Above all, Seth felt most free riding his Harleys on the open road with his buddies.
Seth will be celebrated always and forever. He will never be forgotten by those whose hearts and souls he touched. See you on the other side, warrior.
