Scott was born September 18, 1988 in San Antonio, Texas to Scott and Roneale Duncan. After Scott graduated from Alamo Heights High School, he went on to study at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
As the beloved youngest sibling, Scott went by “Scotter” to his family and childhood friends. He was a gentle, sweet and funny man. As a child, he was inventive and quite the busy engineer. He always had elaborate projects going that invariably involved extension cords and smoke machines. As an adult, his loving nature was shown in the care he took of his aging grandmother, who he visited in the nursing home regularly, sometimes every day.
Scott was fluent in Spanish, and was a lover of Spanish culture. He wrote his own music and played the guitar and piano in local rock bands. As a teenager he was outgoing and creative. To his many friends, his sometimes absurdist pranks are legendary. His unique mind and kind personality will be greatly missed.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Strachan and Jerry Duncan and his mother, Roneale Hosmer Duncan. He is survived by his father, Scott C. Duncan, M.D. and his wife, Corinne Duncan, his sister Robin Duncan and her husband Anthony Dostillio and his sister Amanda Duncan and her husband, Alexander Bove, and his beloved nephew, Mick Duncan Dostillio, his aunt and uncle, Robert and Marcy Duncan and his cousins John, William, Thomas, James, David and Michael Duncan.
