My memories of Sally are of a happy outgoing young girl before she left Australia who turned into warm, friendly outgoing women who loved life.

I remember one Christmas talking to Sally on Alastair’s ipad and thinking how this young girl I once knew had turned into this confident woman, radiating this infectious energy, which literally jumped off the screen as I spoke to her.  

Sally had a passion for education and wanted through her studies to be the best person she could possibly be. Her drive and energy to peruse what she wanted was evident to us all. 

Sally had a passion to excel in everything she did, just like her parents.  

Sally leaves behind a wonderful family, two wonderful parents in Alastair and Vicky and an incredible brother Harry. Along with Ian, Mary-Ann, Glen, Geoff and Greg and her many friends.

Sally will live on in our memories. 


Sophmore year for me, junior year for Sally. We met in each other's anatomy lab dissection group. From day one -- I knew that anatomy would be more enjoyable with this girl as a lab partner. We dissected a cat together, so naturally, we became friends. Sally and I would meet up after-lab hours to review structures together and teach each other what we had learned. We also studied together for the lecture tests and would see each other at Northgate, football tailgates, and other functions. Since then, we've been good friends--and even better Snapchat buddies. Sal Pal had such a friendly and fun spirit, someone who was enjoyable to be around 24/7.  

My heart goes out to all the family and close friends of Sally. She is a very special human and I know that she occupies a large space in many of your hearts.  Rest assured knowing that she brought so much joy and happiness to so many people--even an anatomy lab partner and college friend. 

I extend my deepest possible condolences to the family of Sally. What a truly special individual.

Sally and her brother Harry were good friends with my children.  We lived next door to each other.  My children played with both of these wonderful souls.  I am deeply saddened and my entire heart goes out to Her parents.  Such a lovely soul!  my heart is with the family!  😞😓

Our family will forever regret not getting to meet Sally whom our son Gunner spoke very highly of and he was so honored and blessed to know....  prayers for your family, for peace and strength....

My most precious memories of Sally are of our middle and early high school days.  Sally was one of my very first friends in Texas, the pretty and smart girl up the street who immediately welcomed me into her world.  Endless days were spent running up the hill to her house, playing DDR and the Sims until my mom told me I had to come home, hosting neighborhood capture the flag nights, clocking in countless hours at the neighborhood pool, Halloween parties at the clubhouse, having to sleep over at her house because I was too scared to walk home after watching a scary movie...it's all so vivid and crystal clear to me still.  I am so grateful for those years of steadfast and unwavering friendship.  

Sally was a light, and this loss is absolutely unimaginable.  Mrs. Vicki and the rest of Sally's family, my heart is breaking for you.  I am sending you all of the love, prayers, and condolences that I have to offer.   

Sally was my “potluck” roommate my first year at A&M, and I immediately felt a huge wave of relief when I saw her, as the first thing that hit me was her huge, gorgeous, and piercingly kind smile. 
Upon meeting her, befriending her, and living with her for a few years, my first impression was beyond fulfilled; I have never met another person who could even come close to holding the type of joy and love for life and people as Sally did. I owe a thousand laughs, smiles, and unforgettable memories to her. 
Something which always stood out to me about Sally was her determination. She was not just resilient in the face of adversity—she was genuinely gracious. Constantly accepting and learning and growing, and giving love and light to others through it all. The amount of people she touched in her short impactful life is a testament to the brilliance of her sweet, pure, distinctiveness. 
My heart is broken for Mrs. O’Meara and Harrison, her family, and all of her hundreds of friends and loved ones...my thoughts and prayers will forever be with them. 

Sweet Sally! My heart is so broken but your memory will forever live on. You are the brightest, sweetest, most beautiful soul that I was blessed to work with. I will miss seeing your infectious smile and laughing with you always. I love you SalPal! 

Sally was such a breath of fresh air - she brought so much joy to everyone around her.  We first met Sally when she came to our office for orthodontic treatment many years ago.   We were then very fortunate that she chose to come work at our office while in high school - She worked in our front office and truly added Life to our practice with her beautiful SMILE!  I'd like to think we helped foster her desire to go to Dental School, one of her many dreams!   Dr. Megna has said countless times that Sally would have been one of the BEST dentists and a true asset to the dental profession.   We all have fond memories and will treasure them for a lifetime.  I'll be forever thankful that we have kept in touch throughout the years and she came by our new office just this past Thursday and I was able to give her a BIG HUG and see her friendly face. Sometimes life doesn’t make sense- it seems to be the theme for 2020. Sally was such a kind hearted caring person. We were pretty close in high school and for our undergrad in college. Over the years we’ve kept in touch and it was as if nothing had changed. She was always the brightest soul in the room, and that wasn’t just because of her smile. I still remember going to her house growing up to cook the best home made pizzas- her cooking skills were top notch. Those are memories I’ll never forget. Trying to place this loss, but it will take some time. My condolences to her family. Sending prayers your way. 

I had the pleasure of working with Salpal and Harrison during the summer of 2014. Sally and Harrison were not only cool, smart, and collected; but kind and personable. I wanted to be like them. 

This tragedy breaks my heart, but I know Sally is in heaven making everybody laugh and watching over her loved ones. Sally’s mother should be so proud of her and the effect she had on the world around her. 

Sally and her brother Harrison were both math students of mine at Reagan High school. Sally's smile would lighten up a room - her friendliness and giving spirit was evident in everything she did. I remember her distinctly because of her Australian background, and now that I live in New Zealand she has been in my memory of late. My condolences go out to her family and close friends. She will definitely be missed.  

So saddened by the loss of Sally. A member of my English class, Sally was a standout in a Reagan group full of standouts. I remember her zest, her curiosity and intelligence, her innate kindness and love for others, her humor, and her beauty. Sally’s delightful presence enriched and enhanced her world. I send heartfelt sympathy to her family.  

I did not know Sally, but as a fellow Aggie, we all share a common bond.  I was impressed with her double Masters in both nutrition and Medical Sciences.

I taught water safety when I was a student at Texas A&M back in the late 70's , still swim laps, I scuba dive for a living in Lake Travis, hundreds of dives servicing irrigation water pumps on the lake bottom, and am always trying  aware of the hazards.

Most recently I started impressing on my only son who is 22 the dire importance of wearing a life jacket at all times while boating, you just never know what could happen that you don't expect that could drown you.

Electrocution shock drowning is my biggest hazard, always trying to verify the electrical is disconnected, but cannot disconnect the neighbors on either side typically.

May Sally rest in peace.

I'm so sad to hear of Sally's passing. I was her graduate advisor at Texas A&M while she was working on her master's degree. She always had a smile on her face, and she was such a kind and positive person. It was always a pleasure to see her. My thoughts are with her family and friends. 

Sally was such a wonderful and joyful student that I had the opportunity to teach in the Nutrition Department at Texas A&M University. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you during this challenging time. May God bless and comfort you all!

I had the honor and privilege of being Sally’s acadenic advisor in the Department of Nutrition and Food Science.  She came to see me while attending Blinn College, Bryan, wanting to know about transferring into Texas A&M University.  I noticed immediately her warmth and a huge smile.  When Sally smiled, it sort of took over her face!!  She and I visited many times and she was always prepared to didcuss her next step.  I am saddened to hear of Sally’s passing.  I am grateful, though, that she brought her Spirit and energy into my presence. God speed, Sally, to you and yours.

I learned this morning of the Sally's passing.  I am shocked and saddened.  Sally served as a teaching assistant for me at Texas A&M.  She was brilliant, energetic, and engaging.  The students loved her and so did I.  
I know my words will not remove the pain you must be feeling, but I hope you can find comfort in knowing that Sally touched others through her life.

Sally was a radiant beam of positivity and had such an adventurous spirit. She and I had not been close for many years but were inseparable in middle school. All of our classes were together for several semesters and we shared a locker as well. While our paths eventually took us separate ways I will always look back on those memories with great fondness. I remember she loved the movie Moulin Rouge and showed it to me for the first time 15 or so years ago. I always think of her when I watch it even to this day, and especially will now. My heart is broken for her wonderful family whose beautiful angel left this world far too soon. 

We just heard about Sally and are in shock. She was such a lovely young woman, with a lot of friends, and big dreams. She was always friendly with our son David in school. We are so sorry for her passing, but will always remember her, her beautiful smile, and her charming personality.  God be with you at this time, and remember we are here for you - let us know what we can do . We will keep you in our prayers.  Mark and Sandra Bigler.

Sally came to work at Dr. Naples office and was up front with me in the beginning.  I called her "Snow White" because of her amazing attitude toward life. I know she loved her family, she spoke of her Mom in particular. Often! Her positive attitude and smile was infectious. So smart, so beautiful, loving, wanting to please...those are the memories I will always have. Heaven got an angel much to soon. So heartbroken for myself and everyone who knew her. My thoughts and prayers for family and friends. 

I only knew Sally a little when she and my daughter  Emily Austin were roommates in College Station. Emily really enjoyed getting to know her and was very fond of her.  It's just such a terrible thing to happen, I know you all are devastated - she was always so lovely.  I will keep your family and Sally in my prayers, and I'm just so sorry.

Sally had a really joyful presence that it seemed like she brought to any place. I was lucky to have a few classes with her in high school, and even though we haven't really talked since then, I would always smile when I see her pop up on my facebook feed. I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to know her, and I want to send love and comfort to her family. My deepest condolences. 

It was late October 2010 in Ms. Temple’s English class and we sat right next to each other. I can’t remember who said it first but one of us was wearing a pair of black boots and complimented the other on the pair, saying we had just gotten the same pair for our birthday. We realized we had the same birthday, but one year apart, and both got the same boots for our birthday. Every year after that, Sally ALWAYS wished me “happy birthday” as her birthday twin and always beat me to it. She beat me so many years in a row that it became my mission to wish her “happy birthday” first and I had to do it as soon as I woke up on October 23rd because she would inevitably beat me. Sally was one of the pretty, popular girls but who was always so sweet and kind to everyone. It always made me feel special that she took time out of her own birthday to not only remember me, but to send me birthday wishes. She had a heart of gold and the world lost a very special young woman. I’ll remember my birthday twin every year.

I cannot begin to imagine the pain you are all feeling. I am so deeply saddened and shocked to hear the news of Sally's passing. She was such an intelligent and beautiful light in the lives of everyone she encountered and there is no way to replace the happiness she brought to this world. I am sorry for your loss, I will pray for you and your entire family to find peace.

We knew you Sally for such a brief time, and you had such a beautiful, warm and bright soul.
