Rudy D. Rodriguez, age 85, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on December 12, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas to Rumaldo & Senaiada Rodriguez. Rudy was a member of the Knights of Columbus with St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.
Rudy is preceded in death by his parent; his first wife, Lucy L. Rodriguez and his brother, Bob Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife, Juanita C. Rodriguez; children, Rudolfo J. Rodriguez, Reynaldo R. Rodriguez and Renae M. Porter; grandchildren, Ray, Ashley, Crystal and Christopher; three great-grandchildren and other loving family.
Visitation will take place from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014 at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Shanahan celebrant.
