July 24, 2018,  Ordination of Brother Ruben Robles. Deacon of Iglesia Bautista Particular de la Gracia Soberana.  He was a Deacon since we stared the Spanish work in April 29, 2001. 
 He was faithful until the end. 

My Sincere Condolences to the Robles family. Thank you, my dear sister Vickie, Ruben Jr. Rey and Ramiro. 
Brother Ruben was a blessing to us all.

My deepest condolences to Sister Robles and the family.  My dear brother in the Lord was such a blessing to me.  I thank the Lord for allowing me to have such a friend & brother in Christ.  Thank sister for sharing brother Ruben with the church and the many who’s lives he also touched.  He will be missed but with the many memories one has, the sadness will turn into joy.  

I was blessed to have you as an example of a faithful servant who served the Lord with joy. While you are already greatly missed, I can rejoice with you that you are finally home with Christ and are now worshipping with the saints in His presence.
Your life will always be part of my son's birth story as I was quoting Psalm 119 before my operation so that I wouldn't be afraid. I hope to tell him stories of you and teach him to find joy in the scriputres as you did with us. 
I'm so thankful for the time I did have on this side of eternity with you, and I look forward to the day when we will meet again. I love you Bro. Ruben. Your sister in Christ, Pearlie 

Isaiah 40:31-But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Bro. Ruben, though I am greatly saddened by your absence here on earth, I rejoice that you are with our Blessed Savior and that you are no longer weary.  Besides my parents, you and Sis. Vickie have been the greatest example of faithfulness that I had growing up. My earliest memory of you was as a song leader for Hillburn and as a teacher for the little ones on Wednesday night. You always sang with joy and conviction for our Lord, and I can take comfort that you are with the saints now experiencing that Beulah Land which you would always sing about. I'll miss hearing your voice during the song services and preaching. 
There are so many memories of you bringing joy to all the children around you such as playing the quiet game with us and sing "Great Big Lion" to get us to laugh, or saving the toys from the McDonald's Happy Meals that we could play with after Bible Study. I remember when you formed The Peacemakers and had us memorizing scripture such as Psalm 1, 23, and Isaiah 12 and singing with us. Isaiah 40:31 is one that I think most of us remember you doing the hand motions with so that we would recall the words, and probably so that we would have a smile on our faces as we sang. Then, you started having us learn Psalm 119 and promised whoever was the first person to memorize the octave would get their name written in your Bible. Bro. Ruben, you knew that children were capable of knowing and understanding scripture, and I'll always be thankful for the teaching you gave through your Sunday School drill and Bible memorization. 

Heavenly Father, even in the pain of our grief, we thank you for bringing our dear brother Ruben into our lives. Every day we got to spend together with him was a gift that we will treasure.  ❤️

To our dear Sister Vicky and the family, there are so few words to express how we are feeling for you right now. May the Lord bless you and wrap his love around you. ❤️
