Rodolfo A. Herrera, 77, San Antonio, passed away May 15, 2021. He was born in San Antonio, TX on March 12, 1944 to Guadalupe Herrera. Rodolfo was a hard worker throughout his life working in construction and delivery. He worked for Martinez Construction and Pizza Hut. Rodolfo was a loving father with a very calm, comforting, and humble personality. He was a simple man but he did have his passions. He loved classic cars and car shows. He also loved to go to air shows with his family throughout the years, never missing the opportunity to go to a show. Most of all Rodolfo’s greatest passion was his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Pablo.
He is survived by his daughter Sandra; sons Rudy and daughter-in-law Raquel and Brian and daughter-in-law Christina; granddaughters Ashley, Angelica, Sara, Dora, Courtney, Victoria, Madison, Cacelynn, Aralyn, Janelynn, Jazlene, and Katelynn; grandsons Sean, Christian, Albert, and Zachary; and his great grandson Robert Jr.
Family will be receiving guest on Thursday May 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home , 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The mass of resurrection will be held on Friday May 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, 2004 Chihuahua St, San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226.
Due to covid-19 restrictions, the visitation at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home will be limited to a capacity of 100 guests at a time and face covering are required.
