Roberto Urbano Garcia, Sr. was born on May 25, 1930 and died at his home in San Antonio, Texas on January 30, 2021. Bob entered employment in retail working at BF Goodrich, Hicks Rubber Company, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Western Auto, Advanced Auto Parts. He was a bookkeeper for many small businesses. After retirement, he then accepted a part time job as a document runner for Ken Batchelor Cadillac. Bob was a servant of God, an usher for over 60 years, and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Edna G. Garcia. Surviving children; Roberto U. Garcia, Jr. (Armandina), Cynthia E. Berlanga (Leonard Flores), Bruce W. Garcia, Corina R. Garcia (Ermelinda Marquez); grandchildren, Felicia R. Weick (Aaron), Nicolas R. Berlanga (Marie Ramirez); great- grandchildren, Mikaela A. and Jensen B. Weick. Viewing hours will be from 5-9 PM Wednesday, February 10, 2021 the rosary will be recited at 7 PM at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on February 11 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, internment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Hwy.
