Bob was born in Refugio, TX, to Grace and Gus Schulze on December 2,1948. He attended school in San Antonio, TX and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1967 and joined the Air Force shortly thereafter. He worked as an electrician and was a member of IBEW Local 60. He was highly regarded for his reliability, honesty, and expertise in his field. He was also a 50 plus year member of the Sons of Hermann, Bexar Lodge 308. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and fishing, a good joke, and spending time at home with Patti and family.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Gus.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Patti, his brother Gus “Sonny” Schulze and his wife Evelyn, his sons Carl and his wife Tricia, David and his wife Daniela, Seth and his wife Amberly, his grandchildren Jackson, CJ, and Abigail along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday June 3rd, 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX. Burial to follow the next day at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery at 9 am, Shelter One.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the Mays Cancer Center, makelivesbetter.uthscsa.edu. or to the charity of your choice.
