He spent most of his youth in Victoria and had very fond memories of teachers and friends. He managed several rock and roll bands during his high school years. He was a talented drummer which helped him become a percussionist for the US Army Band 25th Inf. Div. during the Vietnam War. Lee didn't believe in short stories and loved telling them about the band, war and fishing. He was an avid fisherman and his favorite place to fish was Rockport.
Lee never had a down day. His outlook was always positive. He could see the light side of any situation and make you feel better. He was a kind, gentle spirit.
He settled in Corpus Christi, Texas in the mid 80's and opened his own packaging and shipping supply business. He was an extraordinary salesman and the business prospered.
He married in 1989 to Patricia and as a team made the business excel.
He retired in 2010 and moved to San Antonio to be near children. He loved the Lord and enjoyed a wonderful church family at Parkhills Baptist church.
Lee is preceded in death by his father, Bob, his mother, Sunada. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, his sister, Patricia Walker (children Tommy & Tammy) his son, his step children, Rick (Heather) Robin, Brad, Jaymes; John (Cyndi) Lee, D'artagnen, Dalon; Pam (Greg) Evan, Simon; Gayle (Will) Zac, Brandon.Isabelle and eight great grandchildren.
A family funeral will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, officiated by Cody Caywood from Parkhills Baptist.
