He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillis June Barrett Farmer; his parents; his son, Michael Lee Farmer; 2 sisters, Leona Marie Farmer Weimer and Alma Roxanna Farmer Esselburn; brother, Melvin Richard Farmer; and 2 grandchildren, Larry Gene Coker II and Aaron Christopher Meek. Bob is survived by 4 children, Janice Friese, David Farmer & wife, Suk Hui, Robert Farmer, Jr. & wife, Cindy and Joyce Zapata & husband, Carlos; sister, Pauline Farmer; brother, Clyde Farmer; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu, of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethany Primitive Baptist Church, 14203 Babcock Rd., S.A., TX 78249.
