Richard was known by many family and friends. He graduated from Harlandall High School – Class of 1972, and was DECA President. He retired after a long career working in finances and investments.
Richard always worked, stayed busy reading a book or two a day. His passion was the growth and development of downtown San Antonio, knowing all the old and upcoming buildings.
His faith was always strong – he would visit San Fernando Cathedral weekly. He had a passion for music; all the oldies but goodies, knew every singer, songs written, and years of release. Richard was also a big Dallas Cowboys lifetime fan.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Richard was very wise in many subjects, a good listener to all with a sincere smile. He always welcomed you with a handshake and tap on the shoulder.
He will always be in our hearts!
