It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Adams, a cherished resident of San Antonio, Texas. Surrounded by the love of his family, Richard departed this world on November 1st, 2023. Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy, who shared a lifetime of memories and adventures. Their union was blessed with three remarkable daughters: Trisha, Amber, and Stacy, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life. Trisha, his eldest, found her own love story with Brad Lodde. Together, they welcomed two cherished grandchildren, Brody and Tenison, who were a source of boundless happiness for Richard. Amber, the second of his beloved daughters, built a life with Tim Wade. Their daughter, Abby, brought an extra glimmer of light to Richard's world. Stacy, the youngest of Richard's treasures, found her partner in John Dorsey. Together, they formed a bond that was a testament to the enduring power of love. Richard was a man of passions, with an abiding love for baseball and the soothing embrace of the coast. These were the places where he found solace, joy, and an unbreakable connection to the world around him. In the hearts of his family and friends, Richard's memory will forever be cherished. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. A celebration of Richard's life will be held in his honor, where stories and memories will be shared, ensuring that his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 8th at 10:00 am in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
