During her years there Rebecca participated in activities and therapy that were an important part of her treatment. In 2013, Rebecca was voted Fiesta Queen at the school where she participated in the school’s annual fiesta parade and rode atop a beautifully decorated float alongside the Fiesta King. Prior to her illness when she was just 4 1/2 years old, Rebecca was a very bright and happy child. She loved music, dancing, learning her ABC’s, 123’s and playing loteria with her granny.
