Raymond Floyd Jackson Sr.

Mr. Raymond F. Jackson, is reunited with his beloved wife of 67 years, Consuelo Arce Jackson who preceded him in death on April 22, 2022. He passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023 at the Audie L. Murphy Spinal Cord Injury Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Raymond was born to William Jackson and Margaret Boucher in Overland, Missouri on January 30, 1934. He was raised in the St. Louis, Missouri area. He was active in sports and scouting prior to his military service. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. After meeting his wife Consuelo, a native of South Texas. They were happily married for 67 years and raised seven children together.

He is survived by, Elizabeth Laboski and husband Thomas Whitehurst, George Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Rhonda Hebert and husband John, Katherine Jackson, Raymond Jackson, II, James Jackson and wife Erica, and thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. One of Mr. Jackson’s greatest joys was having family get togethers around the swimming pool.

He was always extremely generous, kind, and sweet to everyone. He had been incredibly heartbroken since the passing of the love his life Connie.

He had an extensive military career joining the Army at 17 in June 1951 until his honorable discharge in March 1973 following a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. During military career he earned several awards:
