Raul S. Gonzalez went to be with our Lord and went to join his wife Juanita in paradise on May 6, 2011 at the age of 85. He is survived by his children; Mary Gaitan and husband Frank, Hermelinda Rodriguez and husband Victor, Raul Gonzalez, Jr. and wife Celia, Leticia Slavich and husband Steve, Sulema Escalante and husband Jaime, Daniel Gonzalez and wife Amalia, Omar Gonzalez and wife Irene, Norma Gonzalez, 23 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, siblings; Viviana Garza, Maria Inez Horta, Manuela Olivarez, Israel Gonzalez, Oscar Gonzalez, Elia Jimenez and Marissa DeBennardo. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home located at 6321 Bandera Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78238. We will depart the funeral home at 9:15am on Friday, May 13, 2011 for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
