Raquel G. Torres

Raquel G. Torres age 86, a loving mother and grandmother born February 28, 1932 in McCoy, Texas. Mrs. Torres passed away on November 9, 2018 at her residence in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Salomon P. and Maria Torres; sister, Guadalupe Luna; brothers, Jesus Gonzalez, Manuel Gonzalez; daughter, Leticia Moreno; great-great-grandson, Joshua Garza.

Mrs. Torres is survived by her children, Alma Moreno, Carmen Sauceda (Johnny), Ray Almanza (Mary), Jesse Torres (Debbie), Norma Torres (Tony); five grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; sixteen great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Raquel was a parishioner of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and a member of the 2nd community in the Neocatechumenal Way for over twenty years. She regularly participated in the weekly CCD breakfast and in the annual church festival.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237. The Funeral procession will depart at 10:30 am Saturday, November 17, 2018 for 11:15 am Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 747 S.W. 39th Street, San Antonio. Texas. 78237. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
