A beautiful and loving wife and mother, Peggy Bonner Frost was born on November 13, 1926 to Marguerite and John Bonner in Kerrville, Texas. She passed away October 16, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville and earned a degree in Education from Southwest Texas State University. She married Carol A. Frost Sr. in 1948. Peggy taught school until her second son was born, then became a stay at home mom and was very involved in all of her son’s school activities and their education, including a leader of PTO’ Little League, fund raising, and church functions. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an avid and skilled Bridge player and enjoyed and loved hosting Day Bridge parties. After raising her sons, Peggy re-entered the work force and worked as director of Public Relations for MHMR in Laredo, Texas. After retirement she continued to be an active member of the 1st United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Bridge Club. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marguerite Bonner, her brother, “Bud” Bonner and her husband of 65 years, Carol A. Frost Sr. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her sons, Carol Frost Jr. and wife Lety and Johnny Frost and wife Cessi; grandchildren, Trey (Jessi) Frost, Valerie Frost, Celyna Frost, Oscar Frost, Teresa Frost, and David Frost; great-grandsons, Cannon Austin Frost and Cayson Wade Frost. The family would like to give a very warm and special thanks to Socorro Barrios, Candy and Mari for the wonderful care they gave “Miss” Peggy during the last year of her life. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Friday, October 21, 2016 beginning at 9:00 A.M. with Chapel service at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow with a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. at the Garden of Memories in Kerrville, Texas
