Pauline C. Herr

Pauline C. Herr entered into eternal rest September 13, 2011. She was born July 10, 1932 in Poteet, Texas to Charles and Rebecca Pattillo. Pauline was a beautiful person who was able to find the good in any situation. She admired the beauty in nature such as butterflies and hummingbirds. Pauline loved her dogs and she loved people. She was very sociable and gained much satisfaction in talking and getting to know those she came in contact with. She never met a stranger and for this attribute Pauline will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, David C. Herr; her daughter, Pauline Huster; sister Mary Lou Richey and half brothers, Jake, John and Mickey Pattillo.

Pauline is survived by her children, Ben Herr and wife Desiree; Rebecca Kline, Diana Rees and husband Robert, and Davie Sue Pattillo; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Charlie Pattillo and a sister, Lillie Mae Richards.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 19, 2011 from 5PM to 7PM at Sunset Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 10:30AM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. She will be laid to rest with her husband following the service.
