Patricia Joella White

Patricia Joella White went to be with her Lord on February 7, 2012. She was born August 18, 1935 in Eagle Pass, Texas to parents, John and Iris Moore. Patricia graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1976 with a Bachelor’s in Nursing. She retired as a Director of Nurses. Patricia was extremely talented. She loved sewing, ceramics, and playing the piano. She was also an accomplished singer, having won several awards. She was fluent in Spanish which helped her during her missionary trips with the Baptist church. Patricia was a member of the Alamo City Christian Fellowship for many years. She loved her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, but she especially loved the Lord. Patricia was deeply loved by her family and will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Iris Moore of Uvalde, Texas; her daughter, Patti D. White; grandson, David Tachera III; and brother, Steve Moore.

She leaves behind the love of her life, James Murry Baxter "Boppy"; her children; Jim Baxter and wife Kathy, Nancy Watson and husband Mike, Joella Brooks and husband Thomas, Joanna Baxter, Rosenne Trevino and husband Jim Bass and Roselle Heritage and husband Elogio; grandchildren, Joseph O’Haver and wife Heather, Iris Adams and husband Tyson, Michael Watson and wife Shannon, Farrah Prior and husband Windell, Thomas Brooks, Jr. and wife Stephanie, Brandon Brooks, Joanna French and husband Chris, Shanna Robledo and husband Greg, Joe Daniel Trevino and wife Elizabeth Alaniz, Joshua Trevino, Shawn Heritage, James Baxter, Joel Baxter; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner, and Garett O’Haver, Devonnah, Jalil, Malik, Akeem, and Bryce Prior, Gabriel, Lilianna, Alanna, and Xavier Robledo, Alyssa Brooks, Eian French, Payton, Maddox, Shy, Kaden, and Tre Brooks, James Trevino, Joeslynn Trevino, Eli Watson, Logan Adams, and Jonathan Adams. She is also survived by her brother, John L. Moore, and her little companion, Tiny.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2012 from 6PM to 8PM at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 10AM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park.
